I am new to this whole idea of sexual addiction. I have had the problem for a while but have had a hard time coming to terms with it and stopping the addictive behavior. I feel I need the meetings and a lot of support. I am a female, in my early 20s living in the West Cobb area. Are there any meetings in my area? Any other young people? I feel very alone...

I don't know what to do anymore. I'm going to ruin my life if something doesn't change. I'm a mid 30's male, with a wife and child. Just don't know what to do.

My suggestion would be to do some research on this disease, the links on this site will help.  Find a meeting convenient to you (upper left of homepage) go to one and just listen.  The rest will come if you are willing.

Jmt08 - I feel you on this one - I quit the booze and drugs and now the only thing F**king my life up is men. I have been praying to be able to 12 step men for a long time. I am in my late 20s and I feel alone too- I feel like I am going to need a meeting every day and a good sponsor - there is no way I can do this on my own. It is defiantely going to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.

Jmt08:

You are not Alone!  Please check for meeting times and locations on the top left of this website.  There are women's only meetings and a few in cobb county.  If you cannot find a meeting or someone to talk to, please post here and I will be happy to put you in contact with someone.  There are many young people in our fellowship.
